Her beautiful smile, care, and words always charm others, as beautiful as her name, Gayatri Laksmi Maheswari or Gaya for her cute nickname. She is extraordinary with her height and slim body, which sometimes make people insecure. I think she can be a model with her body, like Kimmy Jayanti, Paula Verhouven, Patricia Gouw–a few Indonesian supermodels. Her skin is also exotic, showing a typical colour of Asian women. No wonder it gives such a complete quality to this young lady.
As a junior in the English literature study programme, Gaya is not a shy girl. Even she is initiative, independent and easy to make friends with others. I remember how I got acquainted with her. It was a moment that made me impressed with her. We were eight and doing singing practices for opening the international winter course event held by the faculty last year. She came to us with her hello and smile, immediately spoke to and made friends with us whom she had never met before. Afterwards, I got more impressed with her.
She told me that she likes singing and had joint singing competitions in high school. No wonder she has a good voice, though she is sometimes tricky and unconfident to take high notes. She likes listening to One Direction and Taylor Swift’s songs to train her vocals, significantly to help her beat the high notes. She realizes that her vocal range is mezzo-soprano. That’s why she gets difficulty reaching the high notes. Despite this, she has shown that she is not only like a supermodel with her ideal body, but her tender voice has charmed everyone around her.
